Wreath for Veterans started by 3 men, Perry, Mike, and Jody when a small girl didn’t have an HONOR Wreath to lay on her grandfather’s grave. She was heartbroken. They joined together to raise money so this issue would not continue each year. There are over 7,500 graves at the Salisbury Historical National Cemetery. Additionally, there are
Wreath for Veterans started by 3 men, Perry, Mike, and Jody when a small girl didn’t have an HONOR Wreath to lay on her grandfather’s grave. She was heartbroken. They joined together to raise money so this issue would not continue each year. There are over 7,500 graves at the Salisbury Historical National Cemetery. Additionally, there are 16,000 + at the Annex just miles away. 3-5 Veterans are buried daily. There are 5 National Cemeteries and 5 State Cemeteries in NC. Our main goal is to continue to annually cover the National Cemeteries in Salisbury, NC with Honor Wreaths. With over 23,500 graves and only 2-3,000 wreaths delivered by “other organizations” this opportunity only happens if the funds are available. It’s simply impossible to do without the help financially of others that are willing to donate.

If you walk the grounds of the Historical Cemetery in Salisbury, NC and read the words “To live in hearts, we leave behind, is not to die.” The realization is that we all serve a purpose. These brave men and women took courage in their cause; “For our country ‘Tis a Bliss to Die” What can you do for those who did so much for you? Let your response be that today is DAY ONE not ONE DAY! It takes a lot of money to buy 23,000+ Honor Wreaths and it is impossible to do alone. Here are ways to help. Reach out if you want to be a part of helping. From online donations to product sales, we offer a range of fundraising solutions to meet the unique needs of our cause. Ways YOU Could Help... (Some are business related and some are not)
1. Dine to Donate/Shop to Donate: Set aside a specific day or time frame to designate a percentage of sales to Wreath for Veterans. We are always happy to set up a small table as well to have our organization represented for people to learn about our cause and to show support of your business as well. We will also publicize your business and post your support on our FB page and our website in hopes that you as well gain more business not only that day but for the future.
2. Allow us to set up a table, brochures, or poster for donations: We would love to get the community involved in honoring our Veterans. Unfortunately, our historical causes are so quickly forgotten today. Something that these men or women served to protect and have. So many died because it was so important to them. Support should be seen more often throughout our community.
3. Donate Money towards the cause: Of course there is always the option to donate money.
4. Include Us in Vendor Events: If you know of any Vendor events and you are willing to inform us… please do so. If we have the resources and volunteers to do so, we would always like to have the opportunity to meet and greet new people.
5. Salute A Veteran: If you know of a veteran that has passed away let us know. Especially if they were buried at the Salisbury National Cemetery… We are currently trying to do more for those who so bravely served, fought, or paid the ultimate sacrifice for our country. We would love for you to join our cause. We would add your company logo to the Salute with a donation.
